Irene Dinardo

DiNardo, Irene (nee Gimmi), of Fairfield, NJ on July 7, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Paul DiNardo. Devoted mother of Thomas and Maureen DiNardo, Theresa and Frank Biancamano, Jody DiNardo and Gina and Donald Cicchetti. Loving sister of Mary Andreaccio, George and Carmela Gimmi, the late Vincent Gimmi and the late Dolly and Bill Smith. Dear sister-in-law Louise Gimmi. Cherished grandmother of Dayna, Thomas Jr. and his wife Heather, Jillian, Alanna, Bobby, Victor, Nicole, Nirene and her husband Brian, Amanda, Paul and Anthony. Mrs. DiNardo lived most of her life in Jersey City before moving to Fairfield 12 years ago. She was owner of DiNardo's Produce, a family owned and operated business in Jersey City for many years. Mrs. DiNardo was proud to have worked as a welder on ships during World War II. She was pre-deceased by her husband Paul in 1982. Funeral Friday 9AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10AM at St. Thomas More RC Church, Fairfield. Entombment in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
