Isabella Annese (nee Mele), 92, of Weehawken, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Domenico Annese. Loving mother of Sabina & her husband Ignazio Valente, Angela & her husband Mauro Palombella, Frank & his wife Michele Annese and Dolores & her husband Frank DeIudicibus. Dear sister of Tomasso Mele and Maria Minervini. Cherished grandmother of Deanna Valente, Jennifer & her husband Joseph Guzman, Frank & his wife Jennifer Valente, Dominick Palombella, David Palombella, Anthony DeIudicibus, Joseph DeIudicibus, Francesco DeIudicibus and Gabriella Annese. Adored great-grandmother of Joseph & Gianna Guzman and Frankie & Julianna Valente. Mrs. Annese immigrated from Molfetta, Italy to Hoboken, New Jersey in 1955. She was a seamstress at LaRocco in Hoboken and Manhattan Fashions in Union City. She loved going to Lanoka Harbor to the beach house and especially loved being with her family. Funeral Friday 8:30AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10:30AM St. Francis R.C. Church, Hoboken. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Thursday 4PM-9PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
