Jaime R Mena

Jaime R. Mena , 58, of North Arlington, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024. He was born on December 10, 1965 in El Salvador to Rolando and Dora (Monterrosa) Mena. Beloved husband of Bonnie A. Mena. Loving father of Doris & her husband Kevin Mehnert, Jason Mena, Arianna Mena, Hannah Mena and Daniel Gonzalez. Dear brother of Liliana & her husband Alvaro Sandoval, Rafael Mena, and Eric Mena. Cherished grandfather of Parker and Brennan. Uncle and friend to many. Mr. Mena was the owner of Mena Transport in Newark, and drove a truck for his own company as well as UPS. Jaime was passionate about cars, trucks, planes, bikes and was in the process of getting his pilot's license. He loved music, especially Phil Collins, Genesis, Bruce Springsteen, Yanni, and The Eagles. Jaime lived life to the fullest, enjoyed simple pleasures and had an ability to help people in a deep and positive way. Funeral Tuesday at 9:30 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Nutley. Friends will be received Monday 4 - 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
