Hart, James, of Lyndhurst, NJ on December 22, 2005. Loving husband of Gladys (nee Weber) Hart. Beloved father of Jamie Jasinski and her husband Richard Jasinski, Sr., Robyn Hart Freund and her husband Paul Freund. Birth father of Christine Herbert. Cherished grandfather of Richard Jasinski, Jr., Jonathan Jasinski, Brian Freund, Meredith Herbert and Even Herbert. He was a "friend to all." Mr. Hart was a member of the American Legion #139, the Lyndhurst Yacht Club and the Parade Horse Association of North Arlington. He was a Harley Man for 60 years and received the award for oldest rider at the Nutley Benefit Run. He was a champion stock car driver in the 1950's and drove in such races as Daytona Beach, Roosevelt Stadium, etc. He was a resident of Lyndhurst for 52 years and served in the US Army during World War II. Mr. Hart was employed with the Gulf Oil Company as a tanker driver for 27 years before retiring in 1983. Funeral Tuesday 11AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Entombment in Garden of Memories, Paramus. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 and 7-9PM.
