James Patrick Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald, James Patrick, 87, of Fairfield, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Carlita C. (nee Bolz) Fitzgerald. Devoted son of the late Daniel & Julia (nee O'Callaghan) Fitzgerald. Loving father of William Fitzgerald, Claire Marie Rutkowitz and Laura J. Ratigan. Dear brother of Daniel, William, Margaret, Eileen and Sheila. Cherished grandfather of Lisa, William II, Michael II, James and Carl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Fitzgerald was a member of United Auto Workers Local 365 and a past member of Towaco Volunteer Fire Dept. He also served in the New York National Guard. Friends will be received Monday 4-8PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Service Monday 6:30pm.
