Jane Melms

Melms, Jane (nee Gilland) of Lyndhurst, formerly of Jersey City, on December 9, 2005. Beloved wife of William Melms. Loving mother of Diane, Loretta Frenzel, Arthur, William, Steven and David Melms, Cathy Pedone, Donna Oriano and Patricia Klebowicz. Dear sister of James Gilland and Lillian Calabria. Cherished grandmother of Twenty-two grandchildrenand five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Melms worked as a clerk for the Hudson County Welfare Office for 10 years before retiring in 1997. Funeral service Sunday during visiting from 1-5 PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Cremation will be private.
