Jane Tortorello

Jane Tortorello (nee Marrazzo), 95, of North Arlington, NJ on Saturday, October 22, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Angelo Tortorello. Loving mother of Jane Ann Tortorello, William & his wife Beatriz Tortorello, and John F. Tortorello & his fiance Marie Perriello. Dear sister of the late Bernie Marrazzo, Sr., Marianne Calabro, Christine Rovi and Charlie Marrazzo. Devoted "sister" of Angela Tortorello & sister-in-law of Marie Tortorello. Cherished grandmother of April Dawn, Suzanne & her husband George Bulmer, William & his wife Nancy Tortorello, and Jane Ann & her husband Steve Gaskill. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews. Mrs. Tortorello worked for Westinghouse in Newark. She began writing poetry at the age of 10, and was a published poet & a member of the Vermont Poetry Society and the Poetry Society of New Jersey. She was a member of the Monday group of North Arlington Senior Citizens. Jane loved dancing and invites all her visitors to waltz up to her casket to Muzzeta's Waltz. Funeral Thursday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Michael's R.C. Church. Entobment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
