Janet Bogan

Mrs. Janet Bogan (nee Grasso), a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 11th, 2024 at the age of 91 at her home. 

Born in Lyndhurst, NJ to Michael & Teresa Grasso on February 10, 1933. Janet will be remembered for her warmth, generosity and gentle kindness. She dedicated her life to her family, always there with a listening ear and a warm hug. Janet loved her job as a school lunch lady in Willingboro while her children were growing up. She had a reputation with school friends as the one who would give you extra scoops of anything you wanted, of course! Her lady friends that she worked with were some of the closest friends in her life and she continued to enjoy their friendships long after retirement.

Janet is survived by her best friend and loving husband, Robert Bogan; her dear sister, Arlene Urgola, her loving children, Lauren Urgola (August) (nee Bogan), Brett Bogan, Denise Fuoco (Robert) (nee Bogan), Lisa Bogan; grandchildren, Christin Vespi (Damon), John Urgola (Hemisha), Brittany Noseworthy (Mark), Stefanie Fuoco-Makrancy (Jared) Brielle Bogan, Anthony Fuoco Blaise Melvin (Ty) and 9 great grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her sister, Margaret Scaduto (nee Grasso).

 A celebration of life service will be held at a date to be determined.
