Janet C. Lombardy (nee D'Alessio) , 72, of ,Warren, New Jersey, passed away on Friday August 10, 2018. Beloved wife of George M. Lombardy. Loving sister of Mary D'Alessio and Donna Cerreto. Adored aunt of Joshua, Laura, James, Christina, and Donna. She is predeceased by her parents James and Frances D'Alessio. Janet was a teacher in Union Township for over 40 years. She received her Master's Degree in English and Counseling from Montclair State University. Funeral Tuesday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Monday 4-8PM.
