Jean Montecalvo

Montecalvo, Jean (nee Finizio), 102, of Fort Lee, NJ formerly of North Bergen and Hoboken NJ passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Anthony. Loving mother of Mary Jean Cannarsa of Fort Lee, NJ and George Montecalvo Sr. and his wife Paula of Andes, NY. Devoted grandmother of John Seidelmann, Glenn Von Seidelmann, Jennifer Libero, Richard Montecalvo, and George Montecalvo Jr. and seven great-grandchidren! Dear sister of Ignatius Finizio and the late Mary Sebatino, Concetta Della Fave and Antoninette Russo. While raising her family in the 1940's, 50's and 60's, and along with being a talented dedicated cook, she found time somehow to often help her husband Anthony with home and apartment renovations and was quite good at plastering and painting and was always willing to pitch in on any project. She was truly one of the greatest generation era women and will surely be missed by family and friends! A golden heart has stopped beating and hard working hands are now at rest!! Funeral Friday at 10AM from the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee. Funeral Mass 11AM Madonna Church, Main Street, Fort Lee. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
