Jennie A. Guadagnino

Jennie A. Guadagnino (nee Balesterri), 82, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. The daughter of Amelia & Frank Balesterri, she was born and raised in Jersey City. She is the beloved wife of the late Michael Guadagnino. Loving mother of Geralyn & her husband Michael Basch, Valerie & her husband Bill Ziemer and Nicholas Tartaglia & his husband Patrick Convery. Cherished grandmother of Jacqueline and Stefanie Ziemer. Dear sister of Frank (Bing) Balesteri & his wife Margie. She is preceded in death by her brother Nicholas (Dekay), sister Cetta, and brother Joseph (Gumbo). Jennie was the president of the Unico Towers Senior Club in Jersey City and worked at the Coach House Diner in North Bergen for over 30 years. Jennie will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Funeral Friday 9:30AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Graveside service 10:45AM Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Thursday 4-8PM. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
