Jerry J. Errichetti

Jerry J. Errichetti, 85, of Fairfield, NJ on Thursday, February 10, 2010. Beloved husband of Barbro (nee Oberg) Errichetti. Loving father of Virginia, Linda, John, Daniel, Susan, Lisa & her husband Roy. Dear brother of Angela Petruzzi and the late Josephine, Phyllis and Nicholas. Cherished grandfather of Kristen, Sarah, David, Grace, Paul & Judy. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Jerry served his country during World War II. He was in the 100th Infantry Division 398th Battalion Headquarters Company Intelligence and Reconnaisance Platoon and fought in France and Germany from November 6, 1944 to April 23, 1945. His division endured 175 days of sustained combat including "the Battle of the Bulge". He was awarded the bronze star.
