Joan B. Magrini (nee Becker), 76, of Princeton, NJ formerly of Lyndhurst, on Tuesday, July 8, 2008. Loving mother of Karen Pezzolla & her husband Stephen Parigi and Susan & her husband David Scannell. Dear sister of Bruce Becker and the late Frederick Jr. and Baron Becker. Cherished grandmother of 3 and great-grandmother of 2. Former wife of Anthony Magrini. Mrs. Magrini was the registrar for the township of Lyndhurst for 38years before retiring in 2003. She was a member of the Jr. Womens Club, the Lyndhurst Republican Club, and C.A.P.A.B.L.E. of Lyndhurst. She was a member of the Bergen County Registrar Association and the NJ State Registrar Association where she was President for 4 years in the 90s. A Bergen Community College Alumni and president of the Alumni Association. She received an MS in Health Education from Montclair State University. She was Secretary of Lyndhurst Health Council & Substance Abuse Committee of Lyndhurst. Funeral service Sunday at 5:30pm at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Friends will be received Sunday 2-6pm.
