Joan M. Zarucha

Joan Milich Zarucha, 73, of Fort Lee, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 1, 2012. She grew up in Manhattan and moved to West New York in her teenage years. She is the daughter of the late Martha Keller and John Milich. Beloved wife of Charles Zarucha for seven years. John her only son resides in Rivervale, NJ with his wife Debbie. Megan her grandaughter was her pride and joy. She will be dearly missed by SR. Genevieve Wetmore (Marlene). Joan worked for the town of West New York for over 30 years. She was bookeeper for the Parks Department and in her later years became the seceretary for several Mayor's. After retirement spending time with her family and friends was most important. Joan also enjoyed swimming, weekly bingo, Atlantic City and playing cards. Funeral Service at 9AM from the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee, NJ. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth New York. Friends will be received Sunday 3-6PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint Josephs Soup Kitchen C/O SR. Genevieve Wetmore SC.
