Gerish, Joan V. (nee Oriolo), 69, of Fairfield, NJ on Saturday, August 16, 2008. Dear daughter of the late Joseph & Dorothy Oriolo. Beloved wife of Jay Gerish for 49 years. Loving mother of Jay M. & his wife Tobi Gerish, Jeanne M. Gerish, Kathleen J. Rieckert, and Joseph P. & his wife Susan Gerish. Dear sister of Joseph & Donald Oriolo. Cherished grandmother of Krista, Michael, Madison, Joseph A., Joseph D., Patrick, & Jacob. Mrs. Gerish received her RN from Englewood Medical Center and was the Secretary/Treasurer of the Jay Gerish Co. in West Caldwell for 33 years. She cherished her family. Her affection for them was evident in her constant desire to be an integral part of every aspect of their lives. She was caring wife, mother, and grandmother and loved dearly by them all.
