John Daniel Mcdevitt

John Daniel "Jack" McDevitt, 90, of Bayonne, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021. Beloved husband of Joan P. (nee Gaffney) McDevitt. Loving father of Denise, Diane, Colleen and Patricia & her husband Michael. Dear brother of Carol Ann & her husband Gerald Wesbecker and the late William McDevitt. Cherished grandfather of Timothy and Daniel Surber & his partner Stephanie Curran, James & his partner Darlene Artis, Nicholas & his wife Lacie and Caitlyn Amadeo and Kristen Meyers. Adored great-grandfather of Aiden Amadeo and Mackenzie Surber. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. McDevitt was an Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He was a member of the Elks Lodge. Funeral Friday 8:30AM from the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C, Bayonne. Funeral Mass 9:30AM St. Henry's R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
