Loving grandfather of 20, great-grandfather of 20, and great-great grandfather of 6. Dear brother of Eileen Lonnay, and the late George, Marie Mulvaney, Ethel Dynes, June McCabe, and Thomas. John was a US Marine Corp WWII veteran who served with the 1st Marine division on Okinawa. He was a construction worker with local 472 for over 50 years. He worked at the Meadowlands Sports Complex before retiring in 1988. Funeral Wednesday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 10AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Monday 7-9 PM and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
