John Henry Davis

Davis, John Henry, 61, of Lyndhurst, NJ, passed away on August 11, 2021. Beloved partner of Dr. Carol Carberry. Loving brother of Dorothy Davis & her partner Michael ONeil, Robert Davis & his wife Camile, Rose Marie Seyler, and Clayton Davis. Dear uncle of 3 Nephews and 4 Nieces, and great uncle to 2 Great Nephews. John was a Retired Captain of the Bergen County Sheriffs Department and was the Head of the K-9 Unit. John was an avid golfer, hunter, fisherman, and loved being in nature. Infectious laugh, indomitable adventurous spirit, selfless and kind, always on time, are just a few traits that John embodied. If all of us can aspire to be some of these things we cherished our lives will be enriched. The most salient, important attribute of allyou basically wanted to be around him and have John as your friend. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Rd. Lyndhurst, NJ. Visitation Wednesday 4-8pm. Private Cremation to follow.
