Butterly, John J., 90, of Fairfield, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016. John is survived by his wife Tannette, of 63 years; daughter Jill & Robert, son John & Diane, daughter Beth grandchildren, Robert & wife Cathy, Jennifer, Jessica, Brian, Christopher, Kaitlyn great-grandchild, Brooklyn. John was a World War II Navy veteran. He became an electrician in 1946 and founded John Butterly Electric Co. in 1958. John was an honorary member of the Fairfield Sportsmen & Conservation Club and a member of the West Essex Horseshoe Pitching League. He enjoyed skiing and the Jersey shore. Funeral Thursday 10AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Service 11AM Fairfield Reformed Church. Private cremation.
