John J. Dettellis

John J. Dettellis, age 48 of Lyndhurst, NJ died on March 5, 2006. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he lived in Lyndhurst his entire life. He was a Print Pool Manager for Merrill-Lynch in Jersey City for 24 years. He was a member of the singing groups "Remembrance" and "Triptones". He coached Lyndhurst Babe Ruth and was the President of the league in 1995. He was a member of Sons of the American Legion Barringer-Walker-LoPinto Post #139 on Lyndhurst. Beloved husband and sweetheart for 30 years of Karen (nee Barone). Loving son of Mary (nee Hyatt) Dettellis of Marshalls Creek, PA. Dear brother of Patricia Sizemore and her husband John of Marshalls Creek, PA and the late Mary Dittellis. Cherished uncle of Drew & Craig Barone. Dear brother-in-law of Jeffrey and Leeann Barone and son-in-law of Lena Barone. Funeral Friday 9am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 425 Ridge Rd. Lyndhurst with a funeral Mass at 10am at Sacred Heart RC Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
