Ferrando, John J., of Fort Lee, NJ on Saturday, July 23, 2005. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Traverso). Loving father of Patricia Fay, Barbara Driscoll and JoAnn Hunt. Dear brother of Shirley Traverso. Cherished grandfather of seven and great-grandfather of one. Mr. Ferrando was a lifelong Fort Lee resident. He served with the US Army during World War II. He was a carpenter with the New Jersey Carpenters Local #6 in Jersey City. He was a parishoner of Madonna Church, VFW Cairola-Barber Post #2342 of Fort Lee and a Charter member of Elks Club of Fort Lee/Palisades Park. Funeral Wednesday 10AM from the Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee. Funeral Mass 11AM at Madonna Church on the Hill. Entombment in Madonna Mausoleum. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9PM. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the NJ APDA Chapter (Parkinson's Disease), PO Box 214, Elizabeth, NJ 07207
