John Martorana

John Martorana, 70, of Fairfield, New Jersey on Saturday, December 14, 2013. Beloved husband of Gera (nee O'Brien) Martorana. Loving father of Marc & his wife Lori, Scott & his wife Kris, Jeff & his fiancee Stefania, Jackie and Geena. Dear brother of Rose Seybold, Theresa & her husband Bobby Miller, Carmella & her husband Bobby Latosa, Mary Ann & her husband Mike Vietri and sister-in-law Sharon Velasquez. Cherished grandfather of Merric John & Kason Quinn. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers and friends. Mr. Martorana was proud to be a part of the first graduating class of North Bergen High School. He gave over 25 years of devoted service to the US Trust Company of NY and was currently employed by DTI while servicing Troutman Sanders Law Firm. John was a Vietnam Veteran serving 3 tours of duty as a Marine. During the September 11th attacks, John was in the South Tower and helped lead others to safety. Funeral Wednesday at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10 AM Holy Angels R.C. Church, 473 Main Street, Little Falls.
