John Michael Fischer

John M. Fischer, 58 of Bayonne, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018. He was a devoted son of the late Frank & Marjorie (Dawes ) Fischer. He was the husband of Antoinette (Rodriguez) Fischer. John will be missed by his son, John II and granddaughter, Brooke. He will also be missed by his brother Tom and his wife Cathie Fischer, and his sister, Barbara Fischer and cousin Ken Vanderburg. He will also be missed by his loving companion, Laura Ricciardi. He was predeceased by his sister, Tina Barra. John is also survived by several nieces and nephews. John was employed for over 30 years as a custodian with Jersey City Board of Education. He enjoyed playing pool and belonged to APA, BCA of Bayonne, and formerly played on the Phillipsburg NJ pool league. John loved to spend time gambling on the horses and being with his family and long time girlfriend, Laura. Funeral service Friday 7PM at the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C, Bayonne. Friends will be received Friday 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, PO Box 5028, Hagerstown MD 21741-5028.
