John Michael Starita, 79, of Bayonne, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020. Beloved husband of Florence (nee Wrba) Starita. Loving father of Patti Starita, John Starita, Pam O'Donnell(the late Tim), Marion Colombo (Steve Taragano), Joseph Colombo(Christine), the late Michael Colombo(Laureen) and the late Donna Ambrosio (the late Anthony). Dear brother of Nick Starita, Rosalie Fezniak, Mary DeGenova and the late Salvatore Starita, Carlos Starita and Margie Morelli. Cherished grandfather of Ashley, Ali, Donna, Joseph, Jessica, Melissa, Michael, Tony, Lisa, and the late Bridget. Adored great-grandfather of 12 great-grandchildren. Mr. Starita was a big supporter of Bayonne Little League and volunteered his time as a manager and coach. Funeral Saturday 9AM from the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C, Bayonne. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Andrew Church of Blessed Miriam Teresa Demjanovich Parish. Private cremation. Friends will be received Friday 4-8PM.
