Cirangle, John V. of Fairfield, NJ died suddenly on Thursday, November, 22, 2007. He served honorably in the Merchant Marines and later in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. In 1958, he attained his BA from Rutgers University as a certified business and social studies teacher. John was formerly empolyed by American Light Alloy, Inc., Kearfott and Naremco Services, Inc. Before retiring in 1995, he was a valued executive for 33 years with Ciba Geigy in Westchester County, NY. As Manager of Special Services, he supervised the executive dining room, cafeteria services, and recreational activities. John leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Helen (nee Cappasola); sisters, Stella M. Fava of Little Falls and Julia Melone of Totowa; brothers William Cirangle of Paterson, George Cirangle of Florham Park, and Louis Cirangle of Wayne. Many in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbors, and friends will miss his keen sense of humor and generosity. He was predeceased by his parents, Mae and Ernest Cirangle; sisters Rachel Parisi and Rose Rota; brothers Lawrence, Frank, and Ernest Cirangle. Friends will be received 2-6PM Sunday at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Rd., Fairfield, NJ. Cremation private. No flowers please.
