Jon Isaac Hmelovsky

Jon Isaac Hmelovsky, 25, of Pompton Lakes, New Jersey, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017. Beloved son of Susan Hmelovsky (nee Feldsott) and Edward Hmelovsky, Jr. & stepmom Pat Hafner. Loving brother of David Joseph Hmelovsky. Also survived by his "Boompa", aunts, uncles, cousins, and many family & lifelong friends. Jon was a "water rat" who swam like a fish, loved surfing, being on a boat in the lake, and was a lifeguard. He was an avid snowboarder and skier, animal lover and enjoyed lacrosse, football and soccer. He attended NJIT and was a fraternity brother of Tau Kappa Epsilon. He was kind, sensitive, had a beautiful laugh and contagious smile, and was the best big brother and cousin. The loss to his loved ones is immeasurable, and he will never be far from their hearts. Friends will be received Saturday 12-4PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield.
