Jonathan Vega

October 19, 1987 — January 17, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jonathan Anthony Vega, who left us peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, January 17, 2025, at the age of 37. So loved by many, Jon leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience.

Beloved husband of Nicole Vega. Devoted father of Alex and Alyssa. Cherished grandfather of Greyson. Also survived by many friends, colleagues and extended family.

Jon worked tirelessly to provide a better life for his family and worked in manufacturing for Vitaquest International since 2011. He was his family's greatest cheerleader and instilled in them the ability to always believe in themselves. He epitomized unconditional love and acceptance and always welcomed everyone with open arms. Even in his most challenging and painful moments, Jon remained selfless, putting the needs of others before his own.

Spending time with family was an important part of Jon's life. He cherished making memories with his family, watching his son play baseball and most especially playing with his grandson, Greyson. Jon was an avid NY Giants fan who spent many Sundays cheering on his team. His love, kindness, and special brand of humor will be missed beyond words.

Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate Jonathan's life, Wednesday 4-8PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Rd, Fairfield.  Private Cremation to follow.  We encourage all who knew Jonathan to join us in honoring his memory, sharing stories, and supporting one another during this difficult time.
