Joseph B. Saldarini

Joseph B. Saldarini, 90, of Fort Lee, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015. Beloved husband of Lita Saldarini (nee Berutti). Loving brother-in-law of Alfred & his wife Victoria Berutti. Dear cousin of Albert Saldarini and Doris King. Cherished uncle of Anita Smith & her husband Allen, Victor Berutti & his wife Barbara, Ronald Berutti & his wife Keva and Steven Berutti & his wife Anne. Adored granduncle of Lauren, Amy, Alanna & Hunter Smith and James, Michael, Julia, Declan, Niav, Ciara, Dylan & Ryan Berutti. Mr. Saldarini was a Quality Control Director for Canada Dry Corp. in New York. He was a loyal son of Rutgers and was a member of the Rutgers President's Council and President of the Class of 1946. He and his wife Lita were the cofounders of the Catherine Martola Saldarini Scholarship Fund for Mason Gross School of the Arts for Classical Piano. Joseph was a great pianist who enjoyed entertaining all his friends and family. Funeral Service Saturday 9:30AM at the Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee, followed by a crypt side service at 10:30AM at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Friday 4-8PM.
