Joseph C. Stuart, 83, of Fairfield, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021. Beloved husband of Gale A. (nee Ridings) Stuart. Loving father of Pamela G. Banchi, Denise P. Keastead and her huband Kenneth W. Keastead, Jr., and Beth A. Romano and her husband Anthony E. Romano Sr. Cherished Grandfather of Anthony E. Romano, Jr. & his wife Ashley R. Romano, Kenneth W. Keastead, III, Kaitlyn J. Banchi, Joseph C. Keastead, Nicholas J. Romano, Marissa G. Romano, Steven M. Banchi, Ryan J. Banchi, and Christopher G. Romano. Dear great grandfather of Rylie P. Banchi Flynn and Isabella R. Romano. Also predeceased by his sister Barbara Sheridan. Joe served on the Fairfield Police Department for 32 years retiring as Captain in 1998. He was a member of the West Essex PBA local 81. He was a past member of the White Game Club in Pennsylvania and Past Volunteer for the Fairfield Fire Department. Funeral Thursday 11AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Cremation Private. Friends will be received Wednesday 3 - 8PM.
