Cilento, Joseph E., 93, of Fairfield, New Jersey passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021. Beloved husband of Gabriella (nee Colpani) Cilento. Loving father of Anthony & his wife Angel Cilento, Diana & her husband James Avato, and Christina & her husband Philip Ratledge. Cherished grandfather of Cristina, Jenna, Elise, Sabrina, & Ava. Dear brother of Florence D'Antonio and Angela Mastrangelo. Mr. Cilento was a US Navy veteran serving during WWII. He was the Assistant to the Chairmans office for Caltex Corp in Irving, TX where he worked for 26 years before returning to Fairfield. He was a car enthusiast but his real passion was spending time with his grandchildren. He could always be found cheering them on from the sidelines of their sporting events. Funeral Tuesday 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Thomas More Church. Entombment Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum.
