Joseph F. Gratta, 91, of Kearny, New Jersey, formerly of Jersey City passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (nee Walsh) Gratta. Loving father of Joanne & her husband Sean Hayes and Kathleen & her husband Steven DeVivo. Cherished grandfather of Kai DeVivo. Dear brother of Annette Cavallaro and Fred Gratta. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Joseph was a Navy Veteran serving during World War II and Korean War. He was a postal worker for USPS for over 20 years. Committal Service Saturday, October 3 at 12PM Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Arrangements under the direction of Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst.
