Joseph J. Tinebra

Joseph J. Tinebra, 92, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (nee Raimondo) Tinebra. Loving father of Camille Stillson and the late Joseph A. Tinebra. Dear brother of Edward Tinebra, Doc Tinebra and Grace Dybwad. Cherished grandfather of Jacob and Justin Stillson. Mr. Tinebra was born in Jersey City and lived most of his life in Lyndhurst. He was Korean War Army veteran, serving from 1951 to 1953, and was a member of the American Legion of Lyndhurst. Joseph's greatest joy in life was his grandsons and being able to watch them grow up. Funeral Monday 10AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 11AM St. Mary R.C. Church, Rutherford. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Sunday 2-6PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, 1199 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange NJ 07052.
