Joseph LoCascio left us to be with the Lord on August 12, 2018. He passed at home surrounded by his loving family after a hard fought battle with cancer. He worked for many years as a driver for Archie's Cab Co. "Smokey Joe" was an avid fisherman, knife collector and huge doo wop fan. He could talk to anyone about anything and often enjoyed doing just that. Joe leaves behind the love of his life and wife of 27 years Gloria, his cherished daughter Tracey Schaefer & her husband Terence, grandchildren Ashley & Anthony as well as Bailey his shiht zu. Also brothers Frank & his wife Beverly, Jack, sisters Maureen & Marguerite, stepsons Robert McCall & his sons Justin & Robert Jr. and Ronald McCall and was predeceased by siblings Joanie, Maurice, Jacqueline, Patricia, Willis & Edward. Joe leaves behind a great number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special thank you to Penny and Sharon from Hudson Hospice, his niece Frances and the nurses and staff from compassionate care who helped in Joe's last days. Funeral Friday 9 AM from the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C, Bayonne. Funeral Mass 10 AM St. Andrew Church of Blessed Miriam Teresa Demjanovich Parish, 125 Broadway. Private cremation. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hudson Hospice Volunteers Inc., 93 Clerk Street, Jersey City NJ 07305.
