Joseph Michael Brady

Joseph Michael Brady, 84, died in Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA on January 11, 2011. Joseph retired in 1981 from Westinghouse Elevator Division in Jersey City, NJ as a Production Expeditor after 37 years of service. Joseph resided in Winchester, VA since 2001. He was born in Lyndhurst, NJ on October 5, 1926, the son of Thomas and Jennie (Kehoe) Brady. He earned an Associate degree in Liberal Arts from Fairleigh Dickinson University-Edward Williams College in 1980. In 1945 he served in the Merchant Marine; in 1949 in the NJ National Guard; and in the US Army during the Korean War. He has been a member of the Knights of Columbus since 1955. He married Barbara Anne Baran on June 14, 1975 in NJ. Surviving are his wife and many nieces and nephews. Six brothers: Thomas, Martin, Edward, William, Bernard & Francis and four sisters: Mae Kennedy, Genevieve Brady, Della Hughes and Margaret Moser are deceased. Funeral Mass Saturday 10 AM at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Lyndhurst. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. Arrangement under the direction of Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst.
