Joseph P. Mayerchak, 76, of Lyndhurst, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Schneider). Devoted father of Sandra Monks, Joseph Mayerchak, Jr., Michele Igielski and her husband Edward, Sharon Mayerchak, William Mayerchak and his wife Carla Silva. Dear brother of Monica Lanza, and the late George Mayerchak and William Mayerchak. Dear brother in law of Barbara. Loving grandfather of Casey, Allie, Danny, Nicole, Joe, Michael, Hannah, Sarah, Steven, Dylan, Logan and great grandfather of Autumn. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Joseph was an Air Force Veteran and previous owner of J&H Radio. He was also a member of the Elks, Lyndhurst Men's club and very active in Sacred Heart Church. Funeral Wednesday, 9 AM from Ippolito Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass, 10 AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Lyndhurst. Entombment, Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.
