Joseph W. Kmon, Sr., 72 of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Kmon (nee Carlin). Loving father of Kimberly & her husband Lucio Delvecchio. Dear brother of Dorothy & her husband Thomas Kempczynski, Edward & his late wife Marie Kmon and brother-in-law of Barbara & her husband Louis Meulli, Evelyn & her husband Leo Fitzsimmons. Cherished grandfather of David & Veronica Delvecchio. Adored uncle of Mary DaSilva, Bernedette Marques, Kathy Murphy, Terry Fitzsimmons and the late Evelyn Fitzsimmons Jr. and loving granduncle of Candice Yaacobi, Crystal DaSilva, Samantha Marques, Matthew, Rebecca & Sarah Murphy. Mr. Kmon was a Vietnam Army veteran and a member of the AmVets Post 139 in Lyndhurst. Funeral Monday at 9:30 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10:30 AM St. Mary R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
