Joseph W. Quatrocchi

Joseph W. Quatrocchi, 88 of Clifton, formerly of Edgewater and Hoboken, N.J. passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2014. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Volpe) Quatrocchi. Loving father to son Charles and daughter Lisa Quatrocchi. Father-in-law to Lauren Quatrocchi. Cherished grandfather to grandson Deano. Joseph leaves his furry companion (Yorkie) Prima "Butch". He is also survived by his sister Gloria Rosati. Mr. Quatrocchi was a US Navy veteran having served during WWII from 1944-1946. Joseph worked as an Electrical Foreman for the NJ Transit Railway for 50 years before retiring in 1995 and was a member of the IBEW #604. His lifelong passion was to raise, train and race homing pigeons and was a member of the Hoboken, Hudson County and Lyndhurst Homing Pigeon Clubs. Joseph will be dearly missed by all friends and family, and will remain in their hearts forever. Funeral Friday 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 11 AM Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Thursday 4-9 P.M.
