Josephine Alfano

Josephine Alfano, 83, of Lyndhurst, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 17, 2019. Prior to retiring, she was a receptionist for many years with Reuters. Josephine was predeceased by sisters Jenny Lubucchiaro, Carmella Guzzo, RoseMarie Corrado, and brothers Nicholas Alfano, and Vincent Alfano. Cherished aunt of Virginia Siluk, Salvatore Lubucchiaro, Patricia Zora, Vincent Alfano, Nicholas Corrado Jr., David Corrado, Diane DiGeronimo, and predeceased by niece RoseMarie Ziel and nephew Santo Lubucchiaro. Dear great-aunt of many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was everyones “Aunt Jo.” Josephine loved Jesus and was a member of the Urban Mission Church in Jersey City. She enjoyed taking cruises and adored her dog, Randy. Funeral Thursday at 9:30AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Service 10:30AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9PM.
