Josephine G Gingerelli

Josephine Gloria (nee DeSerio) Gingerelli, 89, of Wayne, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021. Beloved mother of Patrick & his wife Donna Gingerelli, JoAnn & her husband Don Tanis, and Richard Gingerelli. Loving grandmother of Danielle & her husband Matt Dean, Brittany Tanis, Daniel Gingerelli, and Kara Gingerelli. Dear sister of Robert DeSerio and the late Nicholas, Vincent, Victor, Anthony, Ann Fresco, Mary DeSerio, Melina Sylvestro, and Frank DeSerio. Josephine was one of 10 children in a great big, loving Italian family. She was very artistic, the illustrator of her High School Yearbook, always enjoyed sketching, painting, singing, reading, and learning, as well as cooking. In addition to working as a medical claims examiner for most of her career, Josephine also worked in a family newspaper delivery service and a family owned liquor store while caring for and raising her three children. Upon retiring, Josephine thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, line dancing, playing mah-jongg, reading and walking. Funeral Wednesday 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10AM Sacred Heart Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Tuesday 4-8PM.
