Josephine M. Olin

Josephine M. Olin, 90, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015. Born and raised in Newark, NJ, she has been a Lyndhurst resident since 1954. Mrs. Olin was a Diamond Cutter during the second world war, then a homemaker, then a seamstress for Orenstein Fashions in Lyndhurst. She is survived by her four children, Joli Nelson, Steven Olin, Dr. John Olin and Susan Fells, as well as sons-in-law Richard Nelson, Ronald Fells and daughter-in-law Dr. Jean Roniger. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Nicholas Olin, Joel Nelson and Tabitha Nelson as well as her sister Marie Tabak. She is predeceased by her parents Nicholas & Rose Candore, brother Victor Candore and sister Elisa Candore. She was a kind yet strong woman. She spoke her mind yet remained true to herself and her family. She will be missed by all. Memorial service Saturday 2-5 PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, New Jersey.
