Josephine Madeline Toczylowski

Toczylowski, Josephine (nee Niedzwiecki), 87, formerly of Lyndhurst, NJ died on Saturday, January 30, 2016, with her family present. She was born on May 22, 1928, in Eynon, PA., to Alfonso and Sally (Rudalewicz) Niedzwiecki. She moved to NJ and worked in RCA where she met her husband John Toczylowski. They were married on Oct. 22, 1955, and were married 48 years. Josephine was an active member of St. Michael's Church in Lyndhurst and the Rosary Society, and an active volunteer. She was well known in town serving as a greeter in St. Michael's for Sunday mass. She was always happy to meet people and make them feel welcomed. She had a wonderful laugh and bright smile, and her life was her family. Josephine is survived by her two sons John (Krys) Toczylowski and James (Judy) Toczylowski. Her 5 grandchildren, Nicole (Marco) Meneses, Stephanie (Ryan) Garofalo, Vincent, Desiree, and Corinne Toczylowski; and her 2 great-grandchildren Cristian and Lucas Meneses. She is also survived by her 4 sisters, Phyllis Niedzwiecki, Connie Fitch, Joan Partrizo, Sally Ann Spudis, and sister-in-law Meg Niedzwiecki. Jospehine was preceded in death by her husband John, her parents Alfonso and Sally, her sister Frances and brother Joseph Niedzwiecki. Funeral Wednesday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Michael's R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery . Friends will be received Tuesday 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers donations made in Josephine's name to your favorite charity are preferred.
