Julia Estela Fernandez

Julia Estela Gonzalez de Fernandez, born on November 18, 1932, has joined our heavenly Father on April 10, 2010. Julia was the beloved wife of Afranio L. Fernandez, M.D., and the treasured mother to Jaime, Javier, Janett & Eric, and their respective spouses, Margaret, Pedro and Jacqueline. She was predeceased in death by her son, Alfranio. She dedicated her life to caring for all she met and never knew a stranger. She is also survived by her legacy of grandchildren, Jaime, Timothy, Laura, Evan, Javier, Johnny, Danny, Alex, Nicholas, Elisa, Ciara, Ethan, Colin and Devon. She leaves this world a better place for having touched all of our hearts. Her eight siblings, Hernando, Cecilia, Jorge, Beatriz, Eugenio, Conchita, Lenore and Humberto, and countless nieces and nephews mourn her passing as there was never a more loving and giving soul than hers. For all she met, she had a smile and a giving heart. To all she loved, she gave her heart and soul. Although she has left us, she has shared her mission-live as she did-with a giving heart; care as she did-with compassion; love as she did-with all of your heart. Honor her spirit and never forget that her time here on earth was but a gift to help others learn what true selflessness epitomizes. Funeral Wednesday at 10 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 11 AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Cremation is private.
