Julia Venusti

St. Petersburg, Florida

Julia Elizabeth Venusti (née Montefalcone), 87, formally of Leonia and Cranbury, NJ, passed away on August 14, 2024, in St. Petersburg, FL. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Venusti. Julia was the loving mother of Robert Venusti and Lisa Rosenbaum, and the devoted mother-in-law of Alan Rosenbaum. She was a proud and caring grandmother to Lauren Cross and her husband, Adam Cross, and a cherished great-grandmother to Layton Cross.  She is also survived by many loving nieces, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Julia had a vibrant spirit, with a passion for theater and sports. Known for singing wherever she went, she was a long-time member of The Leonia Players Guild and never missed a chance to watch her beloved Giants. Julia was a faithful member of St. John's Parish in Leonia most of her life and served as a Eucharistic Minister. Her warmth, energy, and generosity of spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Parish on August 26th at 10:30am. Interment following at Madonna Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), 424 E. 92nd St, New York, NY 10128. Arrangements under the direction of Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home, Fort Lee.
