It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Karen M. Dettellis, who left this world on March 4, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on March 22, 1960, in Jersey City, NJ to Charles & Lee (nee Diorio) Barone, Karen lived a life full of warmth, dedication, and love.
She is survived by her loving family, including her cherished brother, Jeffrey & his wife Lee Ann Barone. She was also a proud aunt to her nephews, Craig Barone, Drew & his wife Melissa Barone, and her great-niece, Angelina, who will carry her spirit with them always. She is also survived by her loving dogs, Coco and Kinley. She is predeceased by her husband John Dettellis, and her long time companion, Jimmy Travisano.
Funeral mass Monday 10:30 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
