Melville, Katherine Patricia (nee King), 81. While sleeping peacefully, Katherine "Kay" Melville returned to God on Saturday, July 7, 2012. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, she immigrated to the United States in 1957. From French cuisine to her famous apple pie, she nourished everyone. Kay Melville lived her life as an advocate for children and those in need. Whether you needed a meal or a job, she was there for you. Beloved wife of the late Owen Patrick Melville. Loving mother of Marilynn & her husband Stephen Halas. Cherished nanny of Katherine, Elizabeth, Alexandra and George Halas. She is also survived by her sisters, Moya Saunders, Bernadette Copper & Elizabeth Sayers and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral Thursday at 9AM from the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee, NJ. Funeral Mass 10AM at Holy Trinity R.C. Church. Interment Madonna Cemetery.
