Kathleen Catanese-Hopkins (nee McArdle), 89, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Catanese and the late William Hopkins. Loving mother of Joseph & his wife Kim Catanese, Jim & his wife Janet Catanese, Frank Catanese, Kathy & her husband Jim Giunta, Eileen & her late husband Joe Copko and Maureen & her husband Jim LaFaso. Cherished grandmother of Tracy, Kerri, Joey, Joseph, Nicholas, Christopher, Michael, Frank, Anthony, Jimmy, Luke, Michael, Ryan, Sean, Taylor, Jimmy, Sara, Kimberly, Kristen and Lindsay. Adored great-grandmother of 16. Also survived by her niece Andrea McArdle. Kathleen enjoyed being a homemaker, her gardening, spending time with her large and ever-expanding family, decorating for and hosting holiday dinners, weekends on the boat, babysitting for grandkids..and their kids! She also loved puzzles and crocheting, adopting and caring for her furry friends and the ones who called her yard home. Funeral Monday 10AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 11AM Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
