Kathleen Ann Cordero, age 83, of Nutley, NJ, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025. Born on November 30, 1941, in Newark, NJ, Kathleen was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of many with her warmth and kindness.

Kathleen's devotion to her family was evident in everything she did. She is survived by her beloved children, Frank J. & his wife Jean Marie Cordero, and Carmen Cordero & his partner Maria Valle, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Sydney, Carmen Jr., and Paige. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Frank Cordero. Her family was her pride and joy, and she found great fulfillment in nurturing her loved ones.

A dedicated member of St. Mary's Church in Nutley, Kathleen was active in her community and demonstrated a strong commitment to her faith. Her passion for cooking and baking was well-known among family and friends; she delighted in entertaining loved ones with her delicious creations. Kathleen also had a vibrant spirit, often loving to dance to her favorite country music alongside her devoted husband.

Previously, Kathleen worked at Sears, as a clerk at Hahne's in Newark, a crossing guard in Nutley, and as an assistant clerk for the Town of Nutley. Though her career was varied, her true calling was being a homemaker and creating a loving environment for her family.

While her head was firmly rooted in her life in New Jersey, Kathleen's heart was always in the Villages of Florida, a place she cherished greatly.

Friends & family will be recieved Thursday, 3-9 PM. Funeral Friday 9:30 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral mass 10:30 AM, St. Mary's R.C. Church in Nutley. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001 or St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 17 Monsignor Owens Pl, Nutley, NJ 07110.

Kathleen Ann Cordero will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and culinary talent will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
