ROMEO, Kathleen (Leek) of New York City on September 25, 2008. Beloved mother of Kyle Romeo and his wife, Nancy. Step-mother of Gary Romeo, Jr. and his wife, Thelma. Dear sister of Eileen Leek and Douglas C. Leek. Cherished Grandmother of Caroline Avery Romeo and Zachary Ryan Romeo. Loving aunt of Stephen C. Leek and Michael Douglas Kozel. Kathleen's creative talent and entreprenurial spirit led her to form two companies: Little Mascotte where she designed and created children's clothing and Petite Ange where she designed and fashioned christening gowns from antique fabrics and laces. Her passion for objets d'art and her love of antiques are splendidly manifest in her residence where she surrounded herself with Renaissance Art and her beloved Flow Blue Porcelain. Kathleen was also Board President of 35 East Tenant's Co-op for many years. Visitation Sunday 1-5 PM and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass Tuesday 11 AM at Mary's Nativity Church in Flushing, NY. Interment Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, Flushing.
