Kathleen Mc Neill

Kathleen A Mc Neill, a beloved member of the Rutherford community, passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 63. She was born in Queens, NY, on August 8, 1961 to William and Elaine Mc Neill.

After obtaining her Associate's Degree, Kathleen dedicated over two decades of her life to Verizon, where she excelled in her career and made lasting friendships. She rose to the rank of Sergeant in the Rutherford Auxiliary Police Department, was Municipal Court Officer for many years and life member of the Rutherford Volunteer Ambulance Corp. Her warm personality and strong work ethic left a lasting impact on all those who had the pleasure of working alongside her.

Beloved wife of Maria Calabria. Loving sister of William 3rd, Kevin, Brianne, Douglas, Declan, Colan and the late Joseph. Cherished aunt of Sean, Joanne, Ellen, Patricia, Shannon, Cristin, Charles, Jessica, Christopher, Craig, Daniel, Cathrine, Jaclyn, Victoria, and Peter. Adored great-aunt to 32 and great-grand aunt to 5. Dear goddaughter of Audrea Mc Neill Morgan. Cousin of Dennis, Diedre, Bryan and Delight. Together, they formed a tight-knit family that supported each other through life's challenges and celebrated its joys.

Kathy played on the Rutherford Recreation Vipers Softball team for many years. She also was proud of her work in preparing children to receive their first Holy Communion at the Church of the Saint Mary. Kathleen's dedication to her family, her work, and her community will forever be remembered and cherished.

Funeral Service Monday 8:30 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass Monday 9:30AM Church of St. Mary, Rutherford. Friends will be received Sunday 2-6PM.
