Kevin P. Rex

Kevin P. Rex was the owner of Rex Global LLC. , Rex Global Wealth Management and shareholder, Sr. Advisor, top producer and a well decorated Mass Mutual representative for New Jersey based firm Summit Financial LLC.

Kevin spent most of his career at Summit Financial, which is one of the country’s leading independent financial advisory firms. Kevin spent over 33 years with the firm building a global practice with a domestic client list that reads like a “who’s who” of Wall Street as well as an international client list which rivals his domestic list. Kevin spent years mentoring and growing advisors and had cultivated an international practice that he was very proud of! He also took great pleasure in his international travel, exotic vacations, cultural experiences, friends around the world and a business that he loved and built from scratch.

Kevin worked with the likes of senior securities analysts, top investment bankers, Fortune 500 CEO’s, senior executives of financial institutions, celebrities, attorneys, accountants and many more. Kevin at one point in his career was a sought- after speaker, advisor and lecturer, appearing as a financial expert on Bloomberg Television, Foxfn and CNNfn. Kevin has also been published in national law journals, financial publications and was a contributor in the book “Love, Money, Control” Reinvesting Estate Planning. He had an innovative approach based on more than 33 years of experience in the financial and estate planning industry. Kevin was an inspiration to us all and he last spoke to the firm at the 2023 Kickoff about overcoming adversity and how he waged a valiant fight since.  

Kevin loved team sports especially NFL Football. He grew up loving the Raiders and continued to as they moved from Oakland to Las Vegas. However, as much as Kevin loved football he loved New York baseball. Kevin loved the New York Yankees but he also had a spot in his heart for the New York Mets.

Beloved son of Vincent and Ida C. Rex. Loving brother of Ron Rex and his wife Christine and Rick Rex. Dear uncle of Travis and Chelsea Rex. Friends will be recieved Thursday, April 11th from 3PM-8PM at the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home 1601 Palisade Ave. Fort Lee, NJ. Funeral Mass, Friday, April 12th at 10AM from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 900 Darlington Ave. Mahwah, NJ. Entombment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery & Mausoleum, Mahwah.
